LJ have had an extended DDos attack - I have not been on for a few days now.
Life is good at the moment - I resigned my new job because they changed it beyond all recognition. I am a nurse, not an office worker lol Chloe is still well and as happy as a tub full of otters. My dad had a heart valve replaced and is slowly recovering. I have friends coming over this afternoon so I must go off to sleep for a couple of hours - I have just finished night shift :D
Sorry to hear about your Dad. Always a worry when the older folk get ill. My Mum is doing ok now since her cancer. Where are you working now? Must be a nightmare trying to get around the red tape as a nurse now. This country is going to the dogs fast. Rob and I keeping the book biz afloat and it still seems pretty recession proof. Lucie just gone back to Lancaster to look for a new flat before autumn term. Her boyfriend is pretty useless though. Another story. Been in my garden mostly. This years project. Had a druid living down there for the last few weeks. Plants are looking peachy though. Trifle? What a good idea. :D Huggles. XX Tia.

Good to here the book business is still going well - people need books in these times of recession to help them escape reality.
I have three friends coming over today. We go to Falun Gong exercise class together. One of them has not met my dog yet and would like to - Chloe has her own special guest :D She does not look very excited at the prospect though.
I am learning French - no idea why. Got a six month course for £8.
I am also learning to drive - hurrah! Chloe and me at the beach tra la!!!

Yo! Get driving, you won't regret it. Always loads of money, but well worth the freedom if you can manage it.
You are learning French for your trip to Paris, obviously.
Falun Gong exercise class? Does that involve gong washing? Not with fairy, for sound therepy. I love weird sounds so it totally takes me away. ( not that I was ever really here....)

I dream about visiting Paris again - I learned a lot last time I was there. In three months I learned more than 5 years at O level.:D
Falun gong is a series of exercises and meditations designed to channel energy flow properly. It is early days yet though - haven't felt any benefits yet. It is not a faith, or based on one, so it is for everybody :D
I do like the idea of strange sounds though - have you heard the Tibetan singing bowls?
